Email Service Supplemental Terms
1. Purpose and Scope
These Email Service Supplemental Terms apply to mailboxes, forwarding, aliases, relays, webmail, filtering, mailing features, and related email Services.
2. Policy Compliance
All use is subject to the Email, Anti-Spam, and Messaging Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, Privacy Policy, and applicable law.
3. Mailbox Limits
Mailboxes and accounts are subject to storage, message size, recipient, connection, sending, retention, attachment, and fair-use limits.
Messages may be rejected or delayed when limits are reached.
4. Delivery
Spark Rack does not guarantee delivery, timing, inbox placement, acceptance, retention, or display by external providers.
Remote providers control their own filtering, reputation, rate limits, and rejection.
5. Authentication and DNS
Customer is responsible for accurate domains and DNS records, including SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and MX configuration where applicable.
Incorrect DNS may interrupt sending and receiving.
6. Filtering
Spark Rack may filter, reject, quarantine, rate limit, or block messages to protect users and infrastructure.
Filtering can produce false positives or false negatives and is not guaranteed to identify every threat.
7. Account Security
Customer must protect mailbox credentials, use multifactor authentication where available, and report compromise immediately.
Spark Rack may reset credentials or suspend sending when compromise is suspected.
8. Retention and Deletion
Email may be deleted by Customer action, retention settings, quota enforcement, Account closure, corruption, provider action, or system failure.
Customer must archive important email independently.
9. Backups
Mailbox backups, if included, are best effort and governed by the Data Backup Policy.
Spark Rack does not guarantee recovery of every message, folder, attachment, rule, contact, or setting.
10. Bulk and Automated Messaging
High-volume, automated, transactional, and marketing email may require approval, dedicated infrastructure, or a specialized provider.
Shared mailboxes and shared IP addresses must not be used to evade limits.
11. Reputation and Blocklists
Spark Rack may assist with reputation issues but does not guarantee delisting, provider acceptance, or restoration of reputation.
Customer-caused reputation damage may result in charges, IP changes, suspension, or termination.
12. Migration
Mailbox migration may omit unsupported data, server-side rules, contacts, calendars, labels, or metadata.
Customer must validate migrated mail and maintain source access until completion.
13. Cancellation
Customer must export required messages before cancellation.
Spark Rack has no obligation to retain mail after termination.
14. Acknowledgment
- Email delivery and inbox placement are not guaranteed.
- Customer must maintain accurate DNS and secure credentials.
- Filtering is imperfect and messages may be blocked or missed.
- Important email must be independently archived.
- Bulk messaging requires full policy compliance and may require approval.
